When my life changed

It was right in the beginning of summer 2018, silly old me thought my life was pretty great. I was married with a beautiful wife, we have two fantastic kids and a roof over our heads. I was running a business within the recruitment sector and from time to time it was a bit of a struggle but I made ends meet. 

Me and the wife had just had a slight argument when out of the blue she tells me “maybe we should get a divorce” 

I thought she was joking but I saw the truth in her eyes. Now even four years later I can feel this moment deep within. 

Fast forward 5-6 months and yeah, the divorce is becoming reality. I was devastated and felt so scarred and alone. 

I would only see my kids every other week and I had lost the love of my life. Ant to top it of my business was failing… hard…

I was now back with a “I am going nowhere job” feeling like shit every day. 

Little did I know my life was about to take a drastic turn. A turn in the right direction for once (it felt) 

Fast forward again, this time til 2022, I am sitting in comfy chair in my innercity apartment in central Stockholm (Sweden) looking back and writing this. So much has happened in the best possible way, I am no longer in a dead end job, I get to have my amazing every other week with my kids! Ohh and my love life, well that’s a story for another time… but I am happy and so fulfilled in a way I haven’t been since I was a little kid!

Why does this even matter? 

• Well, for instance again I get to fulfil my dream of owning my own business, ohh and yeah with a huge difference this time, its not about making ends meet its about freedom and success at the same time! 

• On my kids-weeks we can enjoy restaurant and taking small trips on the weekends, just the other week we visited a fantastic case south of Stockholm. It was amazing hearing the story behind Gripsholm Castle built in 1537!

• And I guess now of my favourite things, I answer to no one but myself (and off corse my kids…) 

• I can pretty much do what I want when I want!

• Not to mention my friendships are flourishing in a way that I’ve never experienced in my life before.

I truly believe my lifestyle is only possible because of that one WEIRD VIDEO I stumbled upon a couple years back.
